After hearing 100 free minutes long distance, free Blockbuster movies, I sign up with MCI. I never recieved any of the last mentioned. I will tell you what I did recieve.
Instead I get a nice random phone call charge on my local phone bill (10-10-200 - sound familiar?) for 108 bucks that was supposed to be 5 cents a minute. When I called MCI customer service, they said they could only credit me 88 dollars on that call. This still leaves me paying 20 dollars on a call that was supposed to be $3.35.
They also deleted the records on the call after crediting my local phone company the 88 dollers so they couldn't give me any more information on it. Then when I go to have service with them shut off, they will not cancel it even after my local phone company faxs them 3 notices and I finally have to threaten to call the FCC. Then they keep billing me for service I no longer have after repeatedley calling them to have service shut off and now it will take 3 monthes to get thay money back from them.
Whatever. It is a headache having phone service through them. I would not recommend it.
