I read the report from the guy in Texas, 7-10, '09 in regards to billing by ATT... I was trying to warn him not to go to Verizon... Sadly, we are presently living in a country where large corporations (ATT, Verizon) are vampires and fully and completely taking advantage of their customers. If only our representatives in government, FCC, utility commissions, Attorney Generals, who have been elected to protect us... Could experience the last 7 months of what I consider illegal, predatory billing practices of ATT and Verizon. To me and my bank account. They will stop at nothing and there, so far, as been no one to stop them... My bill has been the same for years and then suddenly it went from the 40 a month to a 100 then 200... No mater what I sent to correct the account I could never resolve... They cut my phone off and charged lots of money... My phone use is limited to a couple of local calls a week.
I have all the irregular billings, many, many dates and conversations had with each of their billing representatives. My most notable conversation was with a person named "Paris" from the Philippines... Did not speak English but by end of conversation... My dsl speed had been cut so I could not upload or download... I repeatedly, have clicking on my phone such as a recorder making the circle...
