On my last months Verizon bill I was billed a one time fee plus monthly charges for something I did not sign up for. I call their 800 number and spoke with a lady and she said she would cancel my account. I received another charge from the on this months Verizon bill. I again called them and told them I did not sign up for anything and I was not paying them anything. They told me they had cancelled my membership last month but did not cancel the charges. I can see now that this is going to be a long drawn out ordeal to get them to stop billing my Verizon account. How can we stop them. Is any action in Texas being taken against these people? I contacted Verizon and asked them to make note that I had talked to Members Edge and they said they would credit my account and stop billing me. Somehow, I know they won't. Why should they? They added me to their scam without my knowlegde so why should they make an effort to remove me from their business?
