"I live in Ga. And have a credit account with Aarons furniture company. I paid on the furniture for a year until I was late one month and the creditor came to my house. The problem is I was not home but my niece and sister-in-law was, the creditor asked where we were and when will we be back. He them goes in to tell them how many time we have been late, by how many days. Then goes on to say how much I need to pay or he would call the police and have me put in jail. My neighbors were outside and could also hear everything he was saying. He also called my mother several times after she said not to with the same treats, even after I told them she was sick with heart conditions. Needless to say she had a mild stroke do to stress. They can not tell me they did not contribute to her stress level. This company calls their consumers phones like (no exaggeration) 20 or more times back to back and the switches numbers and does it again, I have had them do this before the 5 day late period. I just read their online reviews and I am not the only person who feels like they are not fair.
