Earlier this year i ordered a telephone & service from Verizon. After receiving the phone i had misgivings seeing how expensive & overpriced it was. I cancelled the plan.
I wasn't able to return the phone in time to get a refund, I had to pay the full price of the phone $180 approximately.
Recently i found a reasonable plan @ Verizon for $15/month - a price more suitable to our income & my usage level. Even though the phone is my fully paid for property, Verizon is refusing to let me use my phone with a lower priced plan...
That is a clear, very nasty RIP OFF...
If i had not paid for the phone i could understand their attitude.
I paid all the charges they insisted i pay which included the cost of the phone.
If they won't let me use a phone i paid for, then they ought to take it back & give me credit for what i paid.
