If you don't enroll in the Verizon International calling plan and some one erroneouslay dials international call, the Verizon charges them Arm and Length. Recently they billed me for $230 for three international calls made by some one (kids or guests) mistakingly from Verizon phone.
When I got the service from verizon, they asked me to purchase their "International calling plan" (which is expensive compare to calling plans from other companies). I didn't take the international calling plan and told them to BLOCK any international calls from my phone. Verizon refused and told me that they can't block any international calls.
In month of Jan I get a bill of $230 for three international calls (@ rate of $6.77 per minute plus taxes). I was not aware of these calls and may have been made by mistake by kids or some one. I called verizon and explained them the situation. They were very rude and said refused to give the refund. They also said this is the "Price we have to Pay" for not enrolling in their International calling Plan.
Verizon is there to rip consumer off if you don't enroll in their international calling plan.
I am sure millions of other consumers are facing this problem. We need to bring this to the attention of government authorities.
We need to STOP verizon from this consumer Rip off.
