I went online to the Sears website and made and appointment for my carpets to be cleaned. We received an email confirmation and also a confirmation via telephone. About two hours into the four-hour window the day they were to arrive and perform the work, I received a phone call stating they had my appt scheduled to be performed two days later. I told them that was incorrect. I was also told they had me down for air duct cleaning, not carpet cleaning. I told them that was incorrect as well. Then they asked if it would be okay for them to come out the next day instead. What choice did I have, really, since they definitely weren't going to make it out to me that day, as was scheduled.
So I agreed they could come the following day, and they provided me with a two-hour window this time. I waited for a phone call, nothing. I waited for somebody to show up, nothing. Sears is apparently doing well enough that it doesn't need my business, so it won't get it. I'll use Stanley Steemer instead.
