Several months ago I decided to switch my web hosting service from Acenet hosting to Just Host hosting. I used the service monthly, paying 7.95 (even though it was advertised for $3.95 on thier site). Well one day I get laid off and start canceling all monthly subscriptions etc. I contact Just Host via email (this is the method they prefer) and included all the information needed to cancel in this first introductory email. Days later I get a response saying "Sorry to hear. Blah blah. Please state in detail why you want to cancel". I didn't think I would need to write a second email explaining why I want to cancel when I explicitly stated I want to cancel in my first email. I just respond as normal. Days later I get a third email saying they are "sorry to see you go. Blah blah". This time I need to follow a link in the email to begin the process for canceling. This is just too long and drawn out for my taste. I fulfill the task using the link. Then, days later I get told the account was canceled and I would be issued a refund. Well they lived up to that, the account was canceled and the refund issued. Now 22 days later, I got billed $7.95 on a canceled account. I don't even have a login to cancel the service anymore because I already canceled it. Luckily I didn't use a credit card, I used pay pal. So I can now simply cancel my pay pal account (although I shouldn't have needed to) inorder to prevent them from illegally charging me again. I sent a message and I'm still awaiting a reply from them. If you are thinking of going with just host, do not put yourself through it. If you need to cancel in a hurry like I did, you'll be punished for your efforts handsomely. Go with go daddy or acenet. I've used both and while they too don't like to see you go, atleast they honestly cancel your service.
