Loehmann's Retail Store
Fraudulent, misleading and deceptive customer practices

Do not shop at Loehmann's — they are deceiving their customers with unauthorized charges to magazine subscriptions. I recently purchased merchandise at Loehmann's and used my credit card. At no time during this purchase did the Loehmann's cashier ever tell me that I was authorizing Loehmann's to send my name, address and credit card information to Synapse Retail Ventures (a magazine group — who also deals in unscrupulous business practices). I then get a postcard in the mail from Synapse informing me that my credit card would be charged for the subscriptions I ordered! The magazine group told me that I authorized the subscriptions when I used my charge card at Loehmann's! This is fraudulent, misleading and deceptive practice on the part of Loehmann's and I will never shop in that store again.
