Would not allow me to cancel order; would not return phone calls; Internet...
My girlfriend lives far away, and I wanted to send her flowers, so I checked out local florists on the internets. Flowers with Gifted Elegance gave a local address.
I should have known something was wrong when I called and told them the town to deliver the flowers to, and they were like, "Huh?", despite being listed in that town on yellowpages.com.
The flowers never got there, and I spent the rest of the day on the phone. Conveniently, the customer service rep was never available. Finally, to actually talk to a human, I pretended like I was placing an order. This lady said that "no confirmation" had come in on my order and she'd call me as soon as she figured out what was up.
Well, 4 hours later, not having heard anything, I called back. I talked to a different lady, inquired about my order, and was given the run-around. I asked if I could just cancel my order. The lady got furious, and promptly hung up on me. I later called the manager and left a message, and have not heard from him/her since.
Sending flowers is an expensive and timely thing. I paid what I did to Flowers With Elegance so that these flowers would be delivered on our special day. Now my sweetheart thinks I'm a jerk, and I'm left trying to pick up the pieces while this company keeps my money and doesn't deliver the goods.
