I recently ordered flowers for my girlfriend from teleflora.com. The order went thru fine, and I thought everything was all set, I didn't have to worry about flowers. Much to my horror, I got an e-mail from teleflora.com at 2 pm on Valentines Day... On the day the flowers were to be delivered.
I assumed when I saw the e-mail was from them, it was just to confirm that the flowers had been delivered. Boy, was I wrong! The e-mail was to inform me that the flowers would not be delivered that day, because the florists were too busy... Yes, they said the florists were TOO BUSY... Too deliver flowers on Valentines Day!
I immediately called them, and sure enough, the customer "service" person said that yes they were too busy to deliver that day, and asked if I wanted them delivered another day. HUH? I said, ummm the flowers are for VALENTINES DAY, so no. I had to cancel the order, as those were the only two options they gave... Either get the Valentines Day flowers AFTER Valentines Day, or cancel the order. Are you kidding me?
This is the first time I tried teleflora.com, and will also be the last. It was perhaps the worst and most stressful flower shopping experiance I've ever had. I was able to find a local florist to deliver my flowers (so why couldn't they?), altho it was 7:30 pm before they could deliver them due to the late ordering.
My advice to anyone thinking of using this company... Shop local if it's important to you, these people couldn't care less!
