I also signed up as many others for coverage through CCHS. I added a spa/pool endorsement for 200$ and when I needed to use it CCHS was a very interesting beast to deal with. Servicer came to my home and explained the damage to the claims rep, claims rep attempted to wrap the servicer up in "pre-exsisting damage debate" my servicer specifically stated there was no damage or pre exsisting condition and the hot tub appeared to be cared for properly. I soon thereafter recieve a call saying my claim was denied for pre-exsisting conditions. I asked which condition I had and I was told I had rust on my heater. I removed the heater myself and took pictures of it and emailed them to CCHS and was once again told I was denied by a Ms Claudia Roth, I asked her to look at the picture and identify the rust, she could not, she told me I wiped it off.interestingly enough I asked her what she knew about rust and stainless steel. She told me she wasnt able to answer that. I then explained to her that stainless steel cannot rust she then told me I was denied due to "hot tub was not in proper operating condition at time of claim". I then asked what that meant as she repeats the same thing several times. Finally I get told the reason was that I didnt winterize my hot tub. I told her several times that my hot tub was in use through the winter and asked why I would winterize it. They will deny a claim for any reason possible and for this reason I will be starting a website soon to gather names and numbers of all people who have been denied unfairly to have a court of law call CCHS to answer to the people who rightfully purchased coverage from them check back soon for the domain. Will most likely be www.cchsclassaction.com
