I obtained a price quote from a "Direct Buy Vendor" for high-end windows. Out of curiosity, I requested a quote from a local retailer for the identical products. I was quite disappointed when the local retailers price came in LOWER than D.B.
After more research, the only Direct Buy products I found, that had noticeably cheaper prices, were certain types of tile.
In today's market, it was quite easy to find prices (for the same products) that were equal to or better than Direct Buy's.
I found Direct Buy's advertising to be quite misleading. I highly recommend getting a comparative price to see if you're really receiving a discount from D.B.
It's also curious that websites like 'Consumerreviews.org/directbuy', which appear to give unbiased consumer reviews, are actually run by Direct Buy.
