Want to hear my story? I purchased the start up kit for $34.95 through their website and foolishly paid for it using my paypal acct. I used the make up and liked it and so of course just kept it... Assuming that was the end. Then around April 15th I get this letter that comes in the mail from Sheer Cover that says my card has been charged for the makeup. Does it note the amount they charged me in the letter? No. I assumed it could only be a very late letter from February 18th when I initially paid the 34.95. Then a few days later a box arrives from Sheer Cover. I immediately called Sheer Cover and asked them why they sent me another box and that I already had bought one back in Feb. They said that I was to receive a box of 3 month supply every few months. I NEVER authorized or agreed to that and NOWHERE on the website did I see that. Representative gave me an RN number to write on the box and instructed me to send it back. I did this almost two weeks ago. She said that I would be refunded money immediately. I then check my little meager balance on paypal and see that they charged me not once but twice an amount of $106.40. April 13th... An amount of $106.40 was authorized and held (currently being held)... Then April 20th (a few days prior to speaking to one of the little weasels behind this fraudulant company) they again authorized and took payment of $106.40. So now, I have been charged $106.40 and have $106.40 being held from my acct. That's a total of $212.80 missing from my little paypal acct. Paypal will not protect me nor reimburse me because it wasn't through ebay. End of story there. Also keep in mind I talked to a Michelle csr from Iowa and she said "yes, I will go ahead and refund you the $106.40".. She said that would show up in 3-5 days. Everything is the same as the other victims. RUn arounds, no reliable sources, and loads of 4-6 weeks, 48-72 hours, 10-19 days, 2 billing cycles... This is ALL scam talk... When they start throwing out timelines like this... The kind that they hope you will find something else going on in your life and they hope you will forget about their little make up scam and sly charges. I saw this Sheer Cover and thought I'd give them a chance and test out their little line of dust. I am so very sad and upset that I was so feeble minded to trust Sheer Cover. Now I am left with almost nothing in my paypal account. But it's not the end I suppose. I'm not quitting until I get my money back. Sheer Cover seems to have made their "cover" clear and because of that I anticipate there will be a few lawsuits heading their way in their own due time... To sweep up what will be left of their little minerals.
