They trick you into calling them by misleading you by calling themselves the "$20" "Valleywide process service" with "UNLIMITED attempts".
However, they use unlicensed, uncertified substitutes for some of their actual servers. They immediately "jack" up their prices when you call them and give you a COUPLE of attempts for $100. Their prices and "service" are outrageous and I'd steer clear of them if I were you.
Ask yourselves WHY do they not list their prices on their website yet they claim that they work for a "flat rate"??!? Seems contradictory to me (BECAUSE IT IS). Also ask yourself why they claim they have a "law school graduate on staff". Hmmm... NOT AN ATTORNEY? They just attempt to IMPLY that they have an attorney on staff? That's because Jack (John) M. Cox failed the Character and Fitness Exam portion of the State Bar. Seriously, why would a law school graduate work for a process service agency and not a law firm? I think you know the answer to that. Not only that, but is THAT the type of person you want RESPONSIBLE for ensuring accurate and honest delivery of YOUR PERSONAL LEGAL documents? I think not.
They SLOWLY sent out some inexperienced, not certified KID to serve some extremely important papers for me (if not served properly, could result in JAIL TIME, re custodial interference). They wanted to charge me over $100 for it.
In disgust, I called someone else that got there MUCH quicker, was CERTIFIED and charged me even less for it. I even gave him a tip because he was so much better than Jack Cox and his shell/scam of a company "THE TWENTY DOLLAR ($20) VALLEYWIDE PROCESS SERVICE".
I also checked with the better business bureau after the fact and realized that they have multiple complaints against them, none of which were from me.
