I worked for a company that Sears subcontracted out to for their deliveries of televisions and refrigerators. Two years ago during Christmas, including Christmas Eve I worked for this company that was named Valleywide Delivery and Assembly. They did not pay me my last months wages. I contactd the owner of the company and he refused to pay.
After much time and frustration I contacted Sears. After a complete month of run arounds it turns out Sears not only can not and would not help me but are also still subcontracting out to the same delivery company. The total amount that I was out was just under $2,000. I ruined my life for about six months. I couldn't pay my bills and in turn my credit reports got hit.
This has casued many problem in my life and luckily I have gotten through them. It still burns me that these big coroporation always say they look out for the little guy but they never do.
I have emailed them called the stores I worked with and they never gave me anything more than a cold shoulder.
