4/5/09 I recativated my account on XMradio. I liked their stuff and they gave me a deal for past account members.
I checked my debit activity on line and noticed that Ive been charged THREE times plus $ 7.95. I assumed that the second charge was for my second radio which I didnt tell them to activate but that was OK with me because I wanted to (on spending a couple days with the service again) activate one for the car.
The THIRD and FORTH charges had me worried so I called. The first girl couldnt figure out what was going on until after a few minutes on hold she came back and stated that i was charged for "past account usage". I explained to her that I canceled my account so I wanted the charges removed. She couldnt do that so I asked for a supervisor.
He came on and said that YES i owed that money and there was "no evidence " that I indeed canceled.
I DID cancel! I have NO PROOF but I know I did! If someone tells me "ok thats all I need your account is closed "WHY should I retain paperwork for years on a lousy radio service. After reading the other stories I am CONVINCED that I did and that XM Radio is running a SCAM operation.
Entice you back with great offer then make up the difference by charging you for back usage.
