Went to Flooring Degins of Madison to purchase hardwood and tile. I gave them deposits in the form of a personal check and credit card payments. The store noted on my receipts that the deposits were for flooring material. During the process they offered to do some instalation of materials being purchased. I agreed for them to install a stairway and tile shower according to Madison City's Code and my Builders' Permit. They did the worst job ever. The stairway and shower were both incomplete along with the stairway failing inspection. When I began to complain and demand corrections and/or my money back, the business diverted/stole my money deposited for hardwood/tile and paid themselves for their labor charges. The business misrepresented themselves indicationg that it was licensed by the city to perform the work. They were not licensed to install showers or to install stairways. They were only licensed to install flooring. None of the people working for Flooring Designs of Madison are individually licenced, certified, or masters at at anything.
