I was told installers would be at my home in the morning to install my wood like flooring. I paid Empire over $5,000.00 in full to have this done. I waited til noon to have 3 men whom couldnt communicate with me walk thru my home looking confused. The had no idea what needed to be done. Then proceeded to ripe apart my carpet in several places before telling me they could not install my flooring due to possible asbestos. Now Im left with carpet not tacked down in spots and no flooring. The salesmen at my home was very interested in making money how about training them to look for asbestos? He could have looked in a much easier way Im sure. I was a repeat costumer. I recall 10 years ago you placed flooring on top of what might have been asbestos. I contacted a local company that told me flooring is safe to be laid on top of if not disturbed. Shame on you for wasting my time. Im never recommending you.
