We noticed a new charge on our Verizon bill showing $19.95, plus $1 state tax, for a new calling service, Sure Connection LD from USBI. Verizon cancelled the service going forward, and charged back all charges to USBI. When we called USBI (the person on the phone was clearly an overseas operator), we were told that the service was authorized via e-mail, and they referenced an e-mail address that was unknown to us. They quickly cancelled the service and got us off the phone.
