USBI calls me to tell me that I can save money on my long distance. I am getting the CA LIFELINE program and they tell me that I can save more money. I pay $13.55, for local and nationwide long distance. I honestly don't know how I can save more money. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I receive a bill from my Verizon Residential service for $53. The bill is $40 over what I normally pay! I don't know what planet USBI is based out of, but here on earth that is called a rip off! I am furious and going to contact the BBB. Because of USBI taking away the long distance, Verizon drops my lifeline and is no longer available at the price point that I originally signed up for! How can USBI get away with this?
