I saw another report here regarding Sacramento Commercial Properties and Jennifer Scalzi and felt compelled to submit my own report. We have experienced renting a home from Jennifer/Folsom Properties. As a long time renter, it was the worst renting experience I have ever had.
It started once we signed the lease. Everything was peaches and cream until she had our deposit and we were locked in. If you rent from her, she will promise things that she will never follow through with. She will raise your rent and/or deposit. She will enter your property without proper notice. She will use her handyman as a spy when he is at your home!
She will not communicate well. She is rude. She lies. If she doesn't like what you are saying she will threaten you with eviction.
No one was ever in the office to answer calls. Email communication with her was nearly impossible. She changed policies on a whim and told us they were part of the lease.
Do not rent a home from Folsom Properties. Do not let Folsom Properties manage your rental home. You will be sorry!
