Twice failed to send lathe replacement belts ordered and paid for

Of the several problems I have encountered trying to obtain items ordered from Harbor Freight, the most aggravating is the response (s) I have received (or not received) to questions I have concerning replacement lathe drive v-belts for my Central Machinery BV-920 lathe.
The original belt broke in use and the spare belt I had destroyed itself after 1.5 hours of operation.

I ordered a replacement belt in mid - November and after the second belt broke, ordered two more. Harbor freight states they sent the first belt via HFT shipping on 18 November and the additional two on 19 November, by the same method. When they did not arrive by 2 December, because the lathe remained inoperative, I called to check on their status and was told to allow a full 7-14 days for delivery.

When by 12 December they still had not arrived I called their customer service office and was told new belts would be sent. (this is an approximate understanding since the customer service rep. Spoke so rapidly it was difficult to understand and she disconnected us before I could ask questions).

On 15 December I sent an email requesting information regarding the belts which as of 3 January09 has not been answered.in the meantime, a source in Detroit has been located who provided the needed belt at 1/2 Harbor Freight's price.
