I went to H&R Block today to have money put on this emerald card first thing they do is charge you 45.00 then they go on about the late charges if your late with a payment, and that you only have until 2-15-09 to pay it in full. And ready to set your appointment to have your taxes done first thing in Jan. 2009. They said that I could get 500.00 take away 45.00 for them doing this so they would put 400.00 on my card today and the other 55.00 I would have to call them tomarrow to have that put on. Now I went to a ATM to check the balence it couldn't give it to me. So I went back home and call the number on the back of card, and find out 800.00 was credited to my card but I withdrawn 400.00 2 times and it has only been 20 minutes since I left there office, I called H&R Block back and told them what was happening, They told me that if I had more money on my card then I was supposed have I could get in trouble for this, I didn't put it there! That I needed to call the bank again and every time you call it is a 2.00 charge to talk to a person, I call they are telling me I have 800.00 credit I kept telling them I am not paying for the two withdraws of 400.00 a peice. So they put me on with someone eles and he is going on about this card being credited with 800.00 there is money on the card he says just don't go over 400.00 he says. I go to the grocery store get everything I need, get to the counter the card is DECLINED.
Now I am fumming get back call that bank back another 2.00 for this call, to be transfered 3 more times for them to tell me they cannot take care of it today it will be tomarrow mornoing.
It is now 4:00 pm my appointment with these people was @ noon, I didn't get back there until after 1:00pm I nhad an appointment they were taking walk in because the had been there so long. And so far they have made 51.00 off just me today and they only spend 20 minutes with me.
And you can bet when it comes time for that statement to come out they will make sure that gets here. Are they gonna do my this year I highly doubt it.
