I recently moved from 1 apartment to another. Used 2 men and a truck several times before and never had any problems. The secretary who always booked the appointments would call about a week later to make sure everything is okay. This time no calls or responses to my letters. I am missing several boxes containing letters, and pictures from my grand daughters, drinking glasses, box of my daughter's stuff-broke picture frames, scratch dining room tables - I labeled all my boxes so they would go into the correct rooms-most of those were placed in the wrong rooms-the movers were bringing in the boxes so fast I didn;t have enough time to see where everything was going.
Since i have breast cancer and an major injury to my right knee - i am not allowed to lift anything heavier than 10 lbs - i asked them to make sure that the lighter boxes were on top and not to put more than 3 boxes on each other - that didn't happen.
I finally wrote to the credit card company to dispute the charge - all I wanted from the company was I am sorry and what can we do to make it right - no answer-poor customer service
