We hired Priority Van Lines to move us across the country. When we spoke with them originally they said that our belongings would be going directly onto an 18 wheeler and to our new home. They also quoted us $2,100. When the movers arrived, they told us it would be $3,100. They started charging us for things like "mattress covers" and "crates" which were really just boxes.
We were told our belongings would arrive on the 21st of September. We called multiple times to make sure they were on schedule, they weren't. Over the next two weeks we were avoided by this company. They wouldn't answer their phones, or we were told the person we needed to speak to wasn't at work or couldn't come to the phone. We were told our belongings were on their way, only to find out that everything was still in a warehouse in Arizona two weeks later!
When we finally got a hold of someone they told us that they have 21 days to get our stuff to us... Even though they told us 3-5. When our things finally arrived everything was damaged. TV's are broken, our brand new mattress is soaked in oil, pictures are smashed, tables are cracked. The list goes on. The man who delivered our things said that this company will tell you anything you want to hear, they just want money. He stated that they don't care if your stuff get ruined, doesn't come at all, or is very late. They are in it for the money.
This was the worst experience we have ever been through and we encourage anyone ripped off by this company to come forward. They need to know we will not stand for this treatment. They need to be put out of business!
