I noticed a spike in my Qwest phone bill and upon investigating, found two charges ($15.25 ea) from the company ESBI for SBO Survival. Qwest would not speak to me regarding the matter until I had called the company.
When I called, the operator informed me that a member of our household had ordered a seven day free trail and then failed to cancel. My husband believes he took a survey, but insists that he did not sign up for any services, free or otherwise.
After checking with a supervisor she came back on the line and told me that they could refund one of the month's charges. I insisted that I would not be paying for any of the services, no matter which month. She placed me back on hold and reported back that the supervisor would graciously give us a credit for both months-but only this once!
Qwest then added that company to a list of "billing agents" who are blocked from billing on our account.
