Robert Stevens ripoff: sent $49 for membership fee and process

I received an acceptance certificate stating that I was
guarenteed approval for a platinum card with a credit line of $5,000.00. It stated that they already reserved a card in my name, and that all I needed to do was sign the certificate and send in $45.00 for membership fee or $49.00 for rush processing and delivery.

I sent in $49.00 and after 4days, I thought I should get on the internet to see if they had a 800 number or email address so I could see if they had received my money. The only thing I came upon was this ripoff website with the same address and the name of robert stevens that was on my
certificate. Luckly I was able to call my bank and cancel
the check I had sent for $49.00.

I thought it was to good to be true. I hope something is done with the fraud company consumer first. When you have a family with more than one child $49.00 does make a difference.
