Nationally advertised product in Sunday supplement of reputable newspaper undelivered, but naive customer's check promptly cleared. My check for the product and for postage and handling was mailed on October 26. The check cleared my bank on November 6.
I was glad to receive their catalog toward the end of November, as I intended to find and call a telephone number to inquire about the product. SURPRISE! Absolutely no contact numbers appear in their catalog. Holidays interrupted my pursuit, but when my 91-year-old mother was visiting this week and related a similar experience, I decided to expose the unconscionable practices of this company. The next two letters I write will be addressed to my local newspaper and to USA Weekend, which is the supplement included in their Sunday editions.
