PayPal, Inc. limited our access to our money on 11/29/07 and caused eBay to close/suspend our cooldeals2go account. Starting 10/28 we had listed 2 products on eBay under that user name, they sold extremely well, and sales passed 24,000.00 within four weeks. $11,999.69 USD in funds is now stuck and cannot be moved to our bank account.
We sold nothing illegal. Our products could be downloaded from the Internet and did not infringe any copyright.
Ahead of 11/15 we called PayPal, Inc. to say that sales were about to grow, so they would be told what we sold. Our other website, www.hostitplanet.com, also belongs to us, and we mentioned our sales to them again. We believed this meant we had notified them properly. Using our PayPal, Inc. credit card, we purchased an automobile and paid for certain services before the blockage; since they stopped every outgoing payment, we could lose the vehicle and our standing as citizens in our area. eBay's suspension of our account, caused by the restriction, costs us an estimated $3,000.00 per day in sales and prevents us from sending products to customers, about $2,500.00 worth. We contacted PayPal, Inc. 8 times during the two days after the restriction began and provided all the information requested, which we can show we submitted.
Screen shots of the items we submitted would also show some October disputes that PayPal, Inc. has left unhandled for over a month.
We are now classed as a problem, though we have been customers for three years! Everyone, read their terms of service. They are free to do as they like with your funds.
