I've been selling on eBay since 1998... At first I decided never to take PayPal; however, it became the only way to get sales done on eBay, which is why the scam artists bought them out. This week was the last time I decided to keep my mouth shut. I have been beat out of I don't know how much money by PayPal. The fees between eBay and PayPal are like dealing with the mafia.
This week I had 49.00 stolen from me through PayPal. A buyer in Australia who purchased 49.00 worth of items from me simply made a claim to PayPal on Nov 1st saying they did not get their items. I have heard that story before. You see, the items I sell are light, low-cost novelty items, and there is no way to ship them overseas using a tracking method because it is way too expensive. Therefore the clever guy from Australia knows that, so he simply claims he did not get his item, and my funds are on hold.
