The staff at this store is obnoxious and abominably rude. My husband went in to look at a chainsaw, while I looked at handguns. I asked the woman if she knew where to go to get a permit to purchase one, and she said the Johnston County Sheriff's Office. I explained that I had just moved to the area, and did she know where that was? She said "Smithfield." I said yes, I know, but did she know what street? She and her fellow clerk kept repeating the same answers over and over, snickering throughout. One would say, "Smithfield" and the other "Smithfield is in Johnston County" while they both giggled. My husband put the saw back on the shelf and said we were leaving. They laughed loudly as we went outside.
If she didn't know the address, all she had to do was say so. There was no need for the rudeness, or being so bored that they decided to "have fun with the customers" at their expense. I hope they are not representative of the other people in their community to newcomers.
I buy jewelry and secondhand items at pawnshops, but will avoid this one.
