Back on early July, I visited The Friendly Pawn & Jewelry Co. To try and sell some of my personal jewelry so I can have money for gas to hold me until the end of the week. The representative who helped me, Karol Feliciano, could not speak english well and treated me as if we were chatting in the street.
She quoted me a very low price and I asked her how she came up with this price? She replied "by it's weight" as much s I could understand. The Friendly Pawn & Jewelry buys gold by the Gram she said. 10K pays $5 a gram, 14K pays $7 to $8 a gram and 22K to 24K pays from $10 to $12 a gram. She said they use www.kitco.com as reference.
I insisted on speaking to a manager to try and make some ence of the low price she quoted me and out came this tall, slim guy, Chris. He was worst than Karol as far as the price is concern, his English was better. They made no effort to help me in my situation.
I then left with my jewelry and visited Instant Replay Pawn located between E. Colonial and Dean Rd. (Orlando, FL) and I got a good change for my Gold. Thank you Instant Replay Pawn. They pay by Penny Weight and do not depend so much on a website.

They have two stores, one on e. Colonial and chickasaw and another between e. Colonial and semoran (smaller store).
Need cash? Sell your stuffon your own, don't go to a pawn shop. You get half of what is worth used, so they say.
