It's been some time since Zoe Herrington-Brooks decided the jewelry my husband and I paid for in-full was hers to keep if we thought the quality was sub-standard. Granted, we're only out just under $300 for THIS purchase, and any good words we might have had for her OR her business—but that's not the point.
The day I decided Noble House was nothing more than a "glorified pawn shop" was the day I drove to Noble House to pick up the jewelry we'd purchased for my husband's mother (they'd sent it to their sub-contractor for an engraving we'd requested). The "gold" locket/necklace we bought came back from the engraver's shop TARNISHED. Not dirty, but tarnished. Silvery metal showing through the "gold" in swirls. The representative we dealt with decided the jewelry was merely "dirty" and offered to rub it clean. It didn't work and I asked for our money back. No go. They stated they couldn't/wouldn't take it back because it had been engraved.
They kept the piece to "show Zoe" and promised to have "Zoe herself" call me.
Zoe called alright. She denied being able to see a problem with the finish on the piece. Further, she was abrasive and indignant. Her lack of class shone brighter than anything in the store's display cases. She refused a refund, exchange, store credit—and even the return of the piece. I was absolutely stunned. Zoe ended the call by hanging up after stating, "Don't ever set foot in my store again!"
We might have only spent just under $4,000 in Ms. Zoe Herrington's store over time, but we considered ourselves "valuable customers" until that day.
Conclusion: Zoe Herrington kept our money AND the junk jewelry and she still has BOTH.
We ended up buying a quality piece from xxxxxx xxxxxxxx in Lee's Summit, MO.
