A Sears repair person came to my home 7 times to fix my Frostfree side by side refrigerator. They came each time saying something different was wrong with it each time.
The original problem was: Frost build up.
I finally contacted GE, and they install a new door on it. Maybe I should have realized that when I purchased refrigerator, that there were Only that particular style and brand in there warehouse and they were probably recalls.
