Star Search Casting is a rip off. I paid this company their monthly fee for months just to get ripped off. Thier jobs are all jobs that pay nothing and many are pornographic.
They say their backed by the Better Business Bureau. The BBB is a scam too. If a company pays them, they'll say anything, don't believe it.
John Robert Powers (JRP) has been trying to close this fraud website for months now.
The owner of JRP, Mr. Ron Patterson, says the owner of Star Search Casting, Jeff, is a con artist.
If you want legit casting notices, go through lacasting. Their for real.
Very few legit casting directors actually use Star Search casting.com. I called many in NY and CA and none had even heard of Star Search Casting.
If you got ripped off by this company, contact the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office Consumer Protection Division and also contact your bank to dispute all charges.
Soem people make me sick.
Also, report them to easybackgroundcheck. Their trying to shut this guy down too.
