Don't pay this company any money-they are a complete scam
My friend registered with star search casting and hollywood profiles, the same company, it was a nightmare.
He said he thought it was legit because they are part of the bbb. He filed a complaint with ther bbb and never heard back from them.
If you're looking for legit jobs in hollywood, these website are NOT the palce to go-they just get crapy job listings from the internet and stick them up on their site. Check out la casting.com in los angeles. They're really the only pretty legit company out there. They even think star search casting is a joke.
These fake companies are all over the website.
Scam artist Lynn Venturella is also part of the scam milking models out of money for stupid advice you can get anywhere. She has a terrible reputation for scamming actors in Hollywood for years. She's a total "has been" in Hollywood. Jonathan Parker is an obnoxious gay guy who thinks he knows the business. My old friend betty used to work for this guy and he never paid her.
She said he was a real con man and really made up castings for his site.
Stay away from star search casting, hollywood profiles, lynn venturella and jonthan parker.
If you decide to pay them, ask them for a complete list of every casting professional that actually uses their site for casting. Bet you'll never get one!!!
