Ripoff... I signed up via telephone for Star Search Casting to be an extra in the movies. I was informed to pay $98.00, build a profile on their website and it was implied there are jobs available. I have never heard from Star Search Casting and CANNOT REACH them either.
Ten months later I have received another billing on my charge card for Showtime Casting and been unsuccessful in reaching them via telephone, or email. The phone # (on the website) is 800-863-0238, and a rep (and supervisor) state they are Showtime Entertainment, NOT Star Search Casting, and for me to call, 877-633-4051, which is a recording, asks for my phone number, and never called me back.
I have made many phone calls today (for at least 3 hours) and am extremely frustrated and hoping someone can share with me a similar incident, and let me know what I can do to get my refund Please.
