I have been a customer of Silver Star Communications for about three years, with a PCS account allotted 800 minutes per month. This January I added a second line to my account to make the bookkeeping for my business simpler. This way it would be clear exactly what portion of my communications bill was related to business use for tax purposes. From that point forward I started receiving overage charges that amounted from $35 to several hundred dollars per month, even though my calling habits had not changed. I have contacted Silver Star almost every month and disputed the charges with management, who have at least tried to appease me. However, nine out of the ten times I call I leave a message and received no reply. This month (May) I received another erroneous bill; when I added up the listed charges they did not match the total, it's off by nearly $100. It's as if their billing program is a random number generator. I have also been charged for services that I did not request, eventually the charges were credited back to me.

For the past five months I have tried to patiently and pro actively solve these problems, with no success. If anyone else has had a similar experience, please contact me and we can discuss the possibility of collective action.
