MCI sent me a calling card in the mail. I buy cards for my daughter at Sams club for 3.9 cents a minute. I had calling cards from other phone companies at work which I have used and paid 10- 12 cents a minute. My Grandfather had Died and I was checking home. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would pay $2.49 a minute. They called before I received my bill and wanted me to put almost $300.00 for my bill, I thought is was a scam. I received my bill, and I thought it was an error.
Customer service was rude on the phone they told me there was a $2.00 service fee I called 2 times. I emailed them they never responded they just sent me an ad for 15 cent a minute calling card.
I wrote them a letter telling them I was willing to pay 15 cents a minute although what they had charged me I could own a cell Phone for 4 months.
They them billed me again for$194.54 and cut Off my long distance service and sent me to collections.
How can they get away with this scam. I don't want to pay this it's a theft!
