Ild called soliciting a change inn my phonne servide from MCI, promising 15 cent calls to Brazil and 14 cent calls to the Philippines, as well as 5 cent per minute calling throughout the U.S.
Not only was their long-distance service inferior — most times I could not get an international connection, merely a fast busy signal or a dead line — but the 14 cents per minute Philippines calls were actually billed to me as 80 cents per minute (meaning a 54-minute call was $43.20), and the Brazil calls were 40 cents per minute.
No Ild number shows up in the bills (charged through the local phone company), and I cannot find an easy contact number to dispute the charges.
This is fraud and theft, pure and simple.
