I am writing this report to let everyone know of a someone who has scammed my husband and I of over $4200.00. His name is Nafeh Abunab from American Elite Studios on Dearborn Heights Road in Dearborn Heights, MI. He was my wedding photographer and videographer. I paid him $4,273.93 in full, before the wedding which took place Oct.
We have been given so many excuses throughout our time waiting on our photos and video of why we haven't received them, but now he has recently told us he is sick of dealing with us over getting our pictures and video and that he is not going to do our package for us because he doesn't have to. He said that he did finish our video and will give us that along with our proofs and negatives, but he will not do anymore work for us. He said that he didn't have to do any work for us because he changed his business name and his last business went bankrupt. The business we hired him under was named Vogue Studios.
We looked into the bankruptcy files in Michigan and he nor any of his businesses went bankrupt. He merely changed his company's name to American Elite Studios. I believe he merely spent our money and does not have the funds nor does he want to deliver our product that we purchased.
I went to his place of business to pick up the negatives, proofs, and video and I ended up received my proofs with 1/3 of the pictures missing from the album, negatives with some missing as well, and two blank DVD's stating this is our finished wedding video we paid for. WE PAID OVER $4200.00 TO A MAN THAT NEVER GAVE US NOR WILL HE EVER GIVE US OUR WEDDING PICTURES AND VIDEO!!!
This has been an emotional rollercoaster to deal with because it effects the memories I cherish on the most special day of my life.
