I buy dog and cat foods all the time, and I had no problems with Petsmart... I had a positive attitude with Petsmart. My dog loved meeting other dogs and shopping with me at Petsmart.
But, the fish section was absolutely rude! They are very unprofessional when they are in a conversation with the customers.
In my past experience, when i asked a lady for help, the first thing that came out of her mouth was "WHAT" or a "HUH" in a lazy tone (most Killeen, Texas businesses are abit racist since they think I cannot speak English very good even before I speak because of my face even when, we have alot of Asians living here), she never ever actually gotten up. Another lady actually helped me for picked up the fish tank (so maybe she was ok). Another lady who helped me when I picked up two goldfish to take care of as a pet fish she never explained any information about how to take care of fish also, she would talk down to me as if I had the value of a poor hobo. Soon enough once i went home, one of my goldfish died two hours after I took it home.
As you know, I'm not the smartest person in the world and don't have the knowledge of a genius, so I didn't know much about how to take care of pet fish because my knowledge of pets is only in cats and dogs.
Afterwards in Petsmart, I complained about this to the female manager and she said she would take care of this.
Then, my younger son found one of the "lazy ladies" criticizing me behind my back so he calmly said "Could you not talk about my mother like this" immediately, the lady's friend said " WHAT!?" In a painful manner trying to believe what she just heard. "Please don't talk about my mom" he once said again. The "lazy lady" tried to ignore him while she walked on. He then left towards the front door and found himself being screamed at by the lady saying " DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM?"
Later on, I talked to the male manager about this situation, his main excuse was that "That lady was pregnant" I was eventually let down by a national company and I still have supplies and another goldfish to buy. The original lady who helped my buy the gold fish in the first place talked down to me even worse as if it was my fault. So I just left the store.
If you really need buy fish supplies from this store, please researcher what you want to buy before you go there. Especially everything you would buy from there. If you buy a pet and it dies, just remember it's all your fault according to Petsmart.
