Well we feel that we needed to post this and file report... Two months ago we had subcribed Hughenet services, the Pro Pack the top one. We got the top package because we have a couple of computers. Which there advertisements say that the pro-pack is good for. Well our complaint is the first 30 days had wonderful service no complaints... Then we noticed the second month we were like having trouble doing the web and some games we play. Of course we had 30 days to change our minds.
HAHA right well with no complaints in the first 30 days. Then it happend i was cut down to less then dialup. Thought no way i didnt go over the fap rules. So i called them and they did some checking and noticed yes it was to low. They asked me to take a couple of days of speed checks and we did that... Well it was crudy service still. So i called them back and they said well mame we look at that and looks like its during our peak times. I said what? I asked before i got there service and was told that there would be no problem because they have quite a few satalites. I said well you charge me 107 for two years for this and i have to play or surf at night. That is not right. Well dont know what to tell you mame.
So i jsut said well that is not fair, and hung up. I continued to take speed checks for few weeks and WOW looks like poeple get on just at 12 noon to 10 pm and then all logs off. Cause myservice is back up. The speed i get during peak times is 55 download and 34 upload when im suppose to get approxiamtely around 800 to 900 down load and 124 up... And only one computer can run at what dialup speed til after 10 at night. I have also noticed sometimes its all night on low speed. I still continue to take the speed test and same thing everyday... Now to me that is a down and out lie. When on tv it is advertised at contuious that people get it and make it look good them 30 days then your stuck or you pay to terminate it early.
How can people log on same time and logs off the same time every day. My opinon as others that they are turning it down them times and putting it up to higher speed at night... Now that to me is unfair and wrong. I will be ending my service and guess have to pay the fee for early termaination but i will not pay 107.00 a month for 2 years. I wil send back there equipment..
