The office manager of Express called me with a job offer. She said she needed a receptionist to work at the Express office. She said I would be answering phones and scheduling appointments.
What she didn't tell me was that I would have to be handling associates URINE. The company is so cheap that they have people come in for drug tests and make the receptionist perform the tests. But of course she failed to tell me this when she called to offer me the job.
I was trained for 2 days. On the 4th day someone came in for a drug test and I told another employee that I just could not bring myself to touch the sample. The 5th day I talked to the manager and told her I couldn't do the drug tests and that she didn't even tell me that this would be a job requirement and she FIRED me! I don't work in the medical field and sure in the heck don't get paid what someone in a dr's office would get paid to handle other people's bodily fluids. $8.00 an hour for that?!? No way!!
