This is a internet phone company. And actually it works just like they say... The trouble comes in later when you cancel their service. You need to dial a number from your home phone and ONLY your HOME phone once connected you dial your number and are connected to your party.
I was satisfied with their service but when I had to move and cancelled thier service they disconnected me within hours... GREAT! So what is the problem? Two weeks later they took another $39.95 out of my bank account (you pay in advance each month) so the money they took out was for the NEXT month not the previous month.
I moved to another city with a new phone number and even if I had wanted to couldn't of used Speakdeals' phone service as it would only of worked with my old address and number. I emailed them certain this was a correctable error... You know things happen right?
To date 3 months later they still haven't gotten back to me from either the emails (4) or the calls (3) to their office. But they have continued to attempt to take money from my bank account even to this day over three months after I cancelled and they stopped my service! (I had informed my bank I am disputing these charges and Speakdeal cannot get anymore money from me).
If you have ever had this phone service by Speakdeal on your bank statement they are listed as Call Courier not Speakdeal.
My girlfriend had the same problem with Speakdeal except even worse... She has NEVER made a call using Speakdeals' phone service as the access number they gave her never worked but they have been taking money from her account for 6 months causing that bank account to be overdrawn and incurring overdraw fees of almost $100 by now. (she is shutting this account down and saying to hell with Speakdeal AND her bank) She informed her bank what was happening right away but her bank with visions of overdraft fees dancing in their head refused to stop Speakdeal from withdrawing this money month after month.
I have talked to others about all this and apparently Speakdeal does this on a regular basis... This is NO accident so beware!
