They are deceptive and lack honesty when offering there services! They are a fraudulent company!

I am writing this letter in reference to services offered to me by Frank Mallardo from First Data corp. On March 20th at 6:30 P.M. Frank Mallardo assured me there were no other fees except a $10.00 a month customer service fee, as well as a $19.00 a month SSL fee. Upon applying for there services Frank Mallardo had me go to a link to pull up and only verify my address, phone, drivers License, Tax ID, bank account info, and SSN. I asked several times during our supposedly recorded call what the cancellation policy was, and Mr. Mallardo stated there was only a one -time $75.00 Account Closer Fee. Then while I was looking over other information he stated that I wasnt reading the correct stuff, and to scroll down to click the two agree buttons just to confirm my information. After doing such he stated I would be contacted when I was approved, and ended the call. I then printed off the link and seen that he had put down my volume amount for 1500 dollars when I stated I only bring in about $500.00 a month. Then I seen where he had my business being open for six months when I stated I had just started in the month of Feb. Upon seeing that, I immediately tried to call Frank Mallardo back and the office was closed. The next day, (Friday March 21) I received a voice message from Frank Mallardo stating the account was approved. And I would be getting a link sent to my email to set the merchant account up. I never received that email until serveral days later. Upon calling customer service several times to cancel this account I was told there was nothing they could do, and that linkpoints computers were down. That I would have to wait until Monday (March 24th). On Monday I called and spoke to Victoria at ext. 313-0996 who assured me that I had twenty days to cancel without having to pay for the any recurring fee. I then asked why I was being told conflicting stories and she stated they dont want people to know about it. Victoria stated the only thing I would pay is a $75.00 account closer fee. She then faxed a copy of the form to my husbands office who then brought it to me. Upon reading the paper it stated that I would be responsible for the fees. I then called and spoke to Supervisor Tina in customer service who stated that Victoria was incorrect and I would need to speak to the Welcome Group. I then asked to be transferred to that dept and be put on with a supervisor. I was placed on the phone with a woman named Erica who claimed to be a supervisor at first. She was very rude, and stated that Frank Mallardo is an independent contractor and it was my problem that I didnt read the fine print. I stated that when I asked about the policy and cancellation I was lied too. I then asked to speak to someone in the corp office and she stated she was the corp office. After asking her SEVERAL times what position she was, she then said she worked in the Retention office, and the supervisor named Darlene was not there. And, that the only thing she could do is transfer me to her voice mail. At that point she transferred me and I left a message. It is now March 28 at 9:53 A.M. And I have not been contacted. Since then I have filed a report with the BBB and have seen several complaints filed for the same reason.
