I moved out of this dog poop in the grass, bees in the screens apartment complex the later part of january 08. I made sure everything was clean and up to par when I left.
Its now the end of March and I have yet to recieve my deposit back. Ive called them dozens of times and to no avail I didnt even receive a call back until I threatened to contact an attorney.
Three weeks ago the "manager" (I guess thats the name she likes to use) told me my check had already been mailed out on that Friday. Two Fridays have passed and my check has yet to arrive.
My mother even called and she told her "It's only a couple hundred dollars". It may be only a couple hundred dollars to her but to a single mother trying to raise a child and maintain its a million.
I moved to this city just a year ago for an employment opportunity and I really didnt know where to go. They put up this big front about how good they were and the only thing Ive even heard was about drive bys and menacing children.
I will continue to "pester" them about my money until someone tells me how to get it. I would rather stay in the Bates Motel with a psycho than stay in that complex.
Truly thats one VALLEY that shouldve stayed HIDDEN.
