Still have not received my security deposit

My family and I moved out of River Park Plaza Apartments on the last day of June. When we turned in our apartment keys we did a walk through with one of the leasing agents. Her name was Veronica. We left the apartment in better condition than it was when we moved in. She noted on the walk through that the apartment was in very good condition and it was very clean. After calling for 3 months they finally mailed us a check for our deposit BUT they did not spell the name on the check correctly but most importantly they did not sign it. We then went back to their office and showed them the check and the women there said we would have another one in the mail within the next week. It now has been about 2 months and we still have NOT received a check for our deposit. I've been calling about 3 times a week to see if they know anything and so far every time I have called they say they have a new manager and they act like they dont know what they are doing or whats going on. We deserve to have our full deposit payed back to us. We were very good and responsible tenants and we made sure to have the apartment ready to rent out so we would receive our full deposit back. And to be honest, I know a couple of people who lived there and say that they always try to find a way to keep the deposit but I dont think that is right.
