I had Vonage for about 8 months. When I no longer needed the service, I called to cancel. I was told my account was cancelled. A couple months later, I noticed my card was still being charged even though the service was off. Every month, I was advised that my account really was closed and I would not be charged again. Months passed and I was still charged every month. Finally, I was determined to speak with someone who could give me an honest answer. I held on for EVER, spoke with numerous non-english speaking representatives, and finally got to a manager who yelled at me and told me about some cancellation letter that I was supposed to have submitted. I sent the letter... And was then charged a couple more times before the charges finally stopped. It was approximately 1 YEAR of bogus charges. What a miserable company.
